It’s great to learn academic french but it is even better to experience the specificity of the french culture and art de vivre right in a welcoming, natural and safe environment.

About the French Family Camp
Description
The best way to learn a language is to live it ! At The French Explorer School, we don’t just offer ordinary classes. Our explorers trade simple vacations for real experiences in France.
Once a year, I open my home to children who want to practice their french in real life. They become part of our family and enjoy cultural field trips, making the French Family Camp more than just language practice. Kids develop emotional intelligence and open-mindedness by being fully immersed in a new culture.
The French Family Camp is open to any child who wants to improve their French, though priority is given to my students since I already know their needs and personalities.
Activities included (choose a theme)
In the morning : different courses to choose from
Tutoring : learning French with me, Anne
Cooking class : learning healthy French recipes with me, Anne
Fine art class : painting, sculpture, modeling, workshop visit with my daughter, Angèle
Drama class : dance and theatrical games, role-playing games or mini show with my daughter, Angèle or with me
Sport activities : choose between : bicycle, horse riding, initiation to surfing, hiking, tree climbing with my husband, Davy or/and Angèle and me
In the afternoon : field trips (some are included in the price, others are not included ). For example :
Learn about France’s history and geography : visit of Le Puy du Fou, of a castle (Le château des aventuriers or The Adventurer’s Castle), or the city of Nantes
Ecology and natural science : visit of botanical parks, stud farm, the swamps by boat (Marais poitevin)
And, of course : amusement and leisure parks (Le Grand Défi, O’fun Park)

- Pick up / Drop off at Nantes airport
- Field trips with fee entrance

Speak french daily in a genuine setting
