These conditions are owned by The French Explorer School, 9 rue du bon bouillon 85210 Ste Hermine, Tax number).
The Terms & General conditions apply to all students of The French Explorer School.
1. Application
This contract is a service provision contract with the following mission as its object: Teaching French. Parents of a child under 18 must sign the enrollment form to confirm that they have read and agreed with these terms and conditions.
2. Data protection
Your privacy is important to us. Please note that by submitting your personal data to us, you are accepting the terms described in our privacy policy, which can be found at https://thefrenchexplorerschool.com/privacy-policy
3. Payment conditions
The hourly rate for a private lesson is 52 euros for 60 minutes. The monthly rate for 4 lessons per month for a solo explorer is set at 180 euros. T The monthly rate for 4 lessons per month for a Team of 2 explorers is set at 144 euros. The monthly rate for 4 lessons per month for a Team of 3 explorers is set at 108 euros. The price for a Discover pack (10 lessons) is 520 euros.
*The school / the teacher reserves the right to modify the hour rate when necessary, in any case the student will always be notified 30 days before the change is made. Payment for the course must be made between parents/students and The French Explorer school each month and at least 24 hours before the start of classes. If payment in full has not been received, you will not be allowed to start your course. Invoices will be issued at the end of the month and will be sent to students who wish to receive them.
4. Late arrivals
The teacher will wait for the student for a maximum of 15 minutes, if the student does not show up for the lesson after this time, the session fee will be charged and the lesson will not be recovered. No refund will be made for the time missed. If the teacher arrives late, he/she will have to find a time with the student to recover the time lost.
5. Postponement / Programme changes
The teacher and the student have the right to change the date of the course already established if this is done more than 24 hours/days before the start of the course. In this case, both parties must agree on the new date and time. If both parties cannot agree on a new time slot, the course will remain as initially scheduled.
6. Cancellation
All cancellations must be reported as soon as possible. If a cancellation is made less than 24 hours before the class, the student will be charged 100% of the class fee and will not be able to ask for a refund. If a class is cancelled by the teacher less than 24 hours before the class date, the student will be able to recover the lost class free of charge.
The French Explorer School is not liable in particular in the event of fire, floods, interruption of energy or Internet supply
7. Right of withdrawal
If you no longer wish to take a course and wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify your decision by email within 8 days.

8. Confidentiality
The personal data provided by each Party is protected by the laws and regulations applicable to personal data, and in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (General Data Protection Regulation), which will be used for the performance of the Contract.
Each Party undertakes, in the event that it obtains or becomes aware of personal data/documents belonging to the other Party, to process them in accordance with the laws and regulations applicable to personal data.
9. Disputes
In the event of a dispute, the Service Provider, The French Explorer School and the Student /Parents agree to seek an amicable solution.
By signing this contract, the Service Provider and the Student agree to comply with the terms and conditions set out above.
